Amybeth McNulty is an Irish-Canadian actor. Her most well-known role is her role as the main character Anne Shirley on the CBC/Netflix Drama series Anne with an E. This drama was based Lucy Maud Montgomery's book Anne of Green Gables from 1908. Amybeth McNulty grew up in Milford County Donegal Ireland. Her father is Irish and her mother Canadian. Amybeth is an Irish woman. She will be twenty. Her family was born and raised in Donegal the Irish state of Ireland. She has dual citizenship in Ireland and Canada. Her hair is naturally blonde. Anne has also had a complicated relationship to Gilbert Blythe who was two years older than Anne but studying at her level having had his schooling interrupted when his father became unwell. At their first encounter as classmates, Gilbert was known to tease Anne by calling her Carrots. Amybeth McNulty portrays Anne, aged 13 and was raised in an orphanage and as being the host home for strangers. In the latter part of 1890, Anne is sent away to live with the elderly sisters Marilla as well as Matthew Cuthbert who live on Prince Edward Island. The family is all content when the show ends in 1919. Gilbert has aged to 55, but is still passionately in love with Anne.
